Favourite quote. "It isn't enough to talk about peace. One must believe in it. And it isn't enough to believe in it. One must work at it." - This a quote that I will keep close for a long time.
How would the book have been different if it had taken place in a different time or place? It made sense for the story to start in Kentucky. Another location may work but perhaps not as well.
In your own words how did the setting of the story make it more interesting. Charleston is full of old money and secrets.
