What’s your favorite meal? I am the first daughter of immigrant parents. My Mother was Dutch, so I love typical German and Dutch food… sauerkraut and potatoes with rookwurst.(German sausage) are my very favorite. Unfortunately, its too fattening to eat often but I really enjoy it when I have it.
Which one of your characters would you most like to spend time with? Get to know in person? Gosh. I’m going to pick Colin from The Eyes of Love. He is an intriguing man, loving, and prepared to go after the women he loved. I still don’t know him fully … but he is drop-dead gorgeous!
What color represents your personality the most? Yellow came to mind … the other day at a Rotary Meeting I was presented with a bunch of yellow roses. The President said: “when she though of me she thought of yellow, it’s a happy color.”
What movie do you love to watch? Avatar which is one of the most beautiful scenic movies ever made, and The Notebook … with Ryan Gosling “I am nothing special; just a common man with common thoughts, and I’ve led a common life…” And Ryan Gosling is easy on the eye as they say…
How do you feel about social media websites such as Facebook and Twitter? Are they a good thing? Facebook is very good for social networking. It certainly allows us to create and maintain a particular profile. We can edit everything about ourselves, contact details, etc. The best thing about Facebook is the interaction with our friends and even our family. As with everything else we need to keep our cool and remember the world can read what we write.
If you could do any job in the world what would you do? I rather fancy being an Veterinary Surgeon … a hobby would be an artist!
Are you a city slicker or a country lover? I love country life, especially the animals, but I like what the city offers. In other words I love the best of both worlds!
When you wish to end your career, stop writing, and look back on your life, what thoughts would you like to have? That …
… I gave it all a go
… I won’t die with my music in me
… I was open to everything, yet attached to nothing.
